Six new varieties of the Indian Mango have been identified for export to The six varieties cleared by the Japanese include, Kesar, Alfonso, Banganepalli, Langra, Chousa and Mallika grown in Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Japan had imposed a ban on the import of Indian mangoes in 1986 because of suspected pest infestation by fruit flies. |
