ASSOCHAM Calls For Tighter Security For IT, ITeS Staff

A day after a call centre employee was stabbed to death in Bangalore, the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) has called for tighter security of BPO and IT staff specially women.

 

According to ASSOCHAM president Anil K. Agarwal The request was made to these three states as they host the maximum number of BPOs and IT firms.

 

ASSOCHAM has also asked its constituent chambers, the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the Bangalore Chamber of Commerce, to provide full support to the security agencies.
