Indian ISP's Demand Flexible Regulations

Expressing concerns over their exclusion from VOIP (voice over Internet protocol) as well as broadband expansion services due to regulatory issues, various Internet Service Providers (ISPs) across India have demanded a more flexible approach in order to survive.

 

 

According to the Managing Director of Vebtel and a Member of Internet Service Providers Association of India (ISPAI), S. Kusumba , most ISP's are restricted in terms of the range of services they offer due to regulatory issues and hence are under significant pressure and hence unable to break even.
