It seems like God is up for grabs for some as there is heavy bidding going on for the domain name Ganesh.com which has been put up for auction on eBay days before Ganesh Chathurti. So are all bidders just willing to buy the domain for some spiritual motive or are there some hidden commercial elements involved? Well only time can tell the answer to that question. Meanwhile the Bidding continues till August 28.

The winning bidder will get exclusive ownership of the name Ganesh.com as an Internet website address. According to the president of Ganesh.com, Sai Pola, who is selling the name, "Domain names have become hot property as they are a crucial component of a company’s Web identity. It is considered a valuable business asset, equivalent to a global toll-free telephone number, prime real estate location and advertising all rolled into one."
