L&T To Market Scania Trucks In India

Larsen and Toubro (L&T) has entered into an agreement with Swedish firm Scania to distribute its range of multi-axle trucks in India.
 
According to a release issued by L&T to the BSE today, the trucks would cater to the needs of the construction and mining sectors, and would also complement the company's range of hydraulic excavators, which are widely used in mining and construction projects.

"Scania is a leading producer of trucks of capacities exceeding 16 tonne, heavy-duty buses and engines for mining, power generation and marine applications," the release added.
